One of Argentina’s most iconic designs, the BKF Butterfly Chair is 100% handcrafted in Buenos Aires by Argentine artisans.

Our Polo Leather Collection is made from premium, full-grain, vegetable-tanned Argentine leather — the same type of robust leather traditionally used for polo boots, saddles and fine equestrian goods. Selected for its strength, character and ability to age beautifully, every hide is unique and develops a distinctive patina over time.

Each leather in the collection has its own personality, from the timeless warmth of London to the deep wine tones of Malbec and the striking racing red of Fangio.

Available Leather Types:

• Playa: Natural, undyed leather with a soft, light tone that gradually darkens and develops a beautiful patina with age.
• Antique: A naturally aged, vintage-inspired finish with rich variations in tone and character.
• London: Our classic Polo leather — warm, sophisticated and timeless, with the unmistakable character of traditional Argentine saddle leather.
• Malbec: Deep reddish-wine tones inspired by Argentina’s most iconic grape variety.
• Habanero: Rich tobacco and dark chocolate tones for a warm, elegant appearance.
• Tanguero: Deep matte black leather inspired by the timeless elegance and intensity of Argentine tango.
• Cactus: A distinctive green leather that brings an unexpected contemporary character to the classic BKF silhouette.
• Fangio: A bold racing red inspired by Juan Manuel Fangio, the legendary Argentine racing driver and five-time Formula One World Champion. A tribute to Argentina’s extraordinary motorsport heritage, combining speed, elegance and unmistakable character.
